1,800 miles

Sometimes we all need to take a minute to meditate. For me, this moment came as I transitioned out of arboriculture and into the world of design research and consisted of a three week long self-supported solo bike ride from Portland, OR to Minneapolis, MN.

Vulpine Slips

Built oregon | Built up festival

I got involved with Built Oregon through Portland State University’s Impact Entrepreneurs program and have been fortunate enough to write articles for their news section (Love Bottle | Revant Optics) in addition to being a volunteer at their annual Built Up Festival.

Elevating impact summit

Since 2017 I’ve had the opportunity to volunteer with PSU’s Elevating Impact Summit as their Community Partner Strategist. In 2018, my involvement grew to also include the role of Back of House Manager.

Door

When your best friend is a best-selling author who’s putting out their second book and they ask if you’d like to draw the illustrations, there’s only one answer: YES!

As the book explores the poetic meaning of doors, my illustrations literally walk you through a vault door—peeling back layers as you move through the narrative.
